Dr. James W. Kirkconnell

Dr. James Kirkconnell Dr. James W. Kirkconnell graduated from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1984. He did his internship at the Naval Regional Medical Center in New Orleans, and he did his undergraduate work at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA.

Dr. Kirkconnell treats most eye diseases such as eye infections, foreign body removal, red eyes, allergies, dry eyes, evaluation of diabetic retinopathy, cataracts, glaucoma, and macular degeneration.

While he enjoys helping patients see their best in eyeglasses or contact lenses, he is happy to discuss LASIK options with you, as he has followed over 1500 refractive surgery patients.

He is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Tennessee Optometric Association, and the Middle Tennessee Optometric Association.



Allen Lasley

Allen Lasley Allen is our ABOC licensed optician. He has 25 years of optical experience. He is skilled at frame selection, adjustments, and repair.

He also is a craftsman and runs our in-house optical finishing lab, which allows us to provide faster service to our glasses patients.

Barb Paugh

Barb has been an executive administrative assistant for 10 years. She brings her skills in customer service and business administration to Bellevue Eyecare Center.

She attended Ohio State University and Columbus State Community College obtaining an education in both Theater/Liberal Arts and Graphic Design. She is a graduate of Groveport Madison High School in Columbus, Ohio.

Dawn Creech

Dawn is the utility person in our office. She staffs the front desk and does pre-testing. She also enjoys helping patients find the right frame style and fit.

She was an office administrator for three years before joining us..
